Social Accountability Approaches in Enhancing Integrity of CCTP

This paper aims to enhance the knowledge of CSOs involved in the i-Pantawid project on international experiences and good practices in the use of social accountability initiatives for enhancing the integrity of Conditional Cash Transfer Programs. Comprehensive international survey of literatures on impact and integrity risks attending CCT programs worldwide and Best Practices for managing these risks.

It also present twin finding from several international studies of control and accountability mechanisms in CCTPs: (a) that fraud, errors, and corruption would remain problematic despite state-led measures; and (b)the use of CSOs and social accountability initiatives is recommended to complement (not replace) the state-led efforts.
